Apple Watch goals

Last month, Apple was announced as an official partner of this year’s TCS London Marathon. Now, the company has confirmed a series of events and activities ahead of the main race, scheduled for April 26. Here are the details.

Apple Brompton Road to hold pre-marathon events

As an official partner of the 2026 TCS London Marathon, Apple has been promoting its health-related products and services, including the Apple Watch and its many running-focused features, AirPods 3 and its built-in heart rate sensor, and Apple Fitness+.

The latter will launch a new program on April 20, called 4 Weeks of Strength for Runners: A Collaboration with Strava. According to Apple, the new program was “designed to help improve performance, running form, and stability.” It will be led by Fitness+ trainers Kyle Ardill and Kim Ngo, alongside ultramarathon runners Hellah Sidibe and Kayla Jeter.

A few days after that, on April 23, Apple Fitness+ trainer Cory Wharton-Malcolm will host a panel at Apple Brompton Road at 6:30 pm local time. The Race Day Inspiration and 5K with Joe Wicks and Friends panel will feature renowned trainers and athletes Joe Wicks, Hellah Sidibe, Dora Atim, Becky Briggs, and Sherica Holmon. Alas, the event is full and no longer accepting sign-ups.

On the other hand, Apple Brompton Road will also host “former world champion and world-record holder Paula Radcliffe and two-time Olympian Chris Thompson” on Saturday, April 25, for a live episode of the podcast Paula’s Run Club, and sign-ups are still available through apple.co/run-club-live.

The event is set to start at 10:30 am local time, and this is what Apple says guests should expect:

Radcliffe and Thompson will talk training, race-day mindset, and the role of technology for runners as they close out their “Road to London Marathon” series. They’ll be joined by Apple Fitness+ trainer and London running community figure Cory Wharton-Malcolm.

Finally, Apple will host “PE with Apple: Hour of Play” events in six schools across the Wandsworth borough, led by UK fitness icon Joe Wicks and Apple Fitness+ trainers Cory Wharton-Malcolm and Kim Ngo.

Special Apple Music playlist for marathon day

Apple also launched a special playlist, called the Ultimate Marathon Playlist, for Apple Music subscribers.

Featuring more than 100 songs spanning nearly seven hours, the playlist is designed to go the distance, giving marathon participants enough fuel to stay pumped through all 26.2 miles.

If you’re an Apple Music subscriber, you can listen to it or add it to your profile below:

Apple Music requires an active subscription. You can sign up for $10.99 per month, with 1 month free.

Will you be running the 2026 TCS London Marathon? Let us know in the comments.
