Elegance never goes out of fashion and proof will be disaoly when Kogarah Historical Society hosts another of its popular open days at the Carss Cottage Museum next Sunday, April 19.

The society's latest exhibition, Fashion Through the Ages will be the centrepiece of the museum's open day.

Visitors will be able to view a selection of vintage clothing ranging from Victoria bloomers to 1920s fashion.

The society is offering the community free entry to the Museum for the exhibition, where they can also see the usual attractions and our latest exhibition on trends in fashion through the ages.

There will also have an opportunity to participate in activities around the Cottage.

There will be music from the Paul Sun Diuo, afternoon teas ($5) artists sketching, children's games and a 'Mother's Day gift stall with a nod to Anzac Day as well.

The raffle, which will be drawn on the day has a number of donated prizes from local businesses and individuals.

The Museum is run by the Kogarah Historical Society.

It is open every Sunday from 1 pm to 5 pm (1pm-4pm winter) and at other times by request. Admission $5.00 adults, accompanying children free. Students $2.00. Members free.
