A video showing a customized Unitree G1 humanoid robot chasing wild boars along a street in Warsaw, Poland, has racked up millions of views on social media.

The video shows the robot running across a grassy area as it pursued several boars, sending them scattering in different directions. After failing to catch them, it stopped and raised its fist.

The caption on the clip, which has garnered more than 3.8 million views on X, reads: "I’m herding the wild boars into the forest."

The robot, known as Edward Warchocki, has built an online following in Poland through videos showing it interacting with people in everyday settings, according to Fox Business.

Warsaw, the Polish capital, has long faced challenges controlling a population of several thousand wild boars that roam urban areas. Authorities have attempted to reduce their numbers through culling, including shootings in residential neighborhoods.

The robot’s pursuit of the animals, however, was not an attempt to manage wildlife but part of a promotional stunt, according to Futurism.

Warchocki has previously attracted attention for public appearances such as performing on stage, running alongside marathon participants, and visiting Poland’s parliament.

Social media users responded with humor to the clip, with one calling the robot "the hero we don’t deserve," according to the New York Post.

"Finally, some sensible application of robotics," another user wrote.
