About Fragrant Story Official Strategy Guide

Our team of volunteers gathered the unpublished source pages and art layers for this strategy guide, which were created entirely by humans starting in 2021, and we have assembled them into a print-ready format. The text was written by William Kage, and was proofed and play-tested by our team. The artwork includes designs and sketches from 2021 by William Kage, Gracia Wong, Xauv, and Sachin Madhawa (Photoshop). Clay figures in the book were produced in 2021 by Matthew Sagaser and William Kage (sketches, wire, foil, polymer clay, paint), and photographed in a lightbox with a Canon EOS 550D. We worked with print professionals in the USA to finish the physical book (Photoshop, Acrobat). Much of the artwork was previously published in 2022, including an art book showing sketches and behind-the-scenes layers. We have enjoyed discovering and highlighting the methods used by this team, in the years just before generative AI artwork became widespread.
