About Heavy Metal Heart

"Heavy Metal Heart" is about a cyborg repossession agent who's struggling to keep his humanity in a dystopian society where everyone wants to become less human. It's a potboiler cyberpunk yarn that I'm planning to post on the online platform WebNovel.

Every single word in this novel was written using the "cycling" method that was popularized by Dean Wesley Smith in his book "Writing Into The Dark." This means that I write 600 words at a time, which I then revise, before moving on to the next set of 600 words that will also be edited, and so on and so forth. The process continues until the story is finished. 

The cover art for the novel was created by Felix Tindall, a very talented artist who designs minimalist posters for Netflix, Wizards of the Coast, and other production companies.

Grammarly (the free version. I used to pay the monthly fee until they started adding AI "suggestions" and a "humanizer" function. I would rather blow my brains out than use these) and the Reedsy writing platform.
