OnePlus Watch 4: Top Spec Wear OS Watch You May Never Be ...

OnePlus is reportedly in the midst of leaving key western markets entirely, including the US and UK, but has just revealed a new high-profile gadget, the OnePlus Watch 4.

The full details of the watch, bar its price, have been published on the global OnePlus website.

Just like the OnePlus Watch 3, announced in early 2025, the OnePlus Watch 4 has unusually long battery life for a full-blooded Wear OS smartwatch. It is rated for up to five days of use, or 16 days in its power saver mode, which dims its intelligence down to that of a fitness tracker.

That is possible thanks to OnePlus’s use of what it calls a Dual-Engine Architecture. The Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 runs the show in smartwatch mode, while a lower-power BES2800 can manage the sensors with lesser power drain in the power saver mode.

The OnePlus Watch 4 is a 47mm diameter watch with a titanium outer casing, a plastic rear and Sapphire screen protection. It’s a relatively high-end construction, while weight of 43g without strap matches the titanium edition of the 46mm Apple Watch Series 11.

It has a 1.5-inch OLED display, just like its predecessor, has resolution of 466 x 466 pixels. And while peak brightness is rated at 3,000 nits, highs of 1,500 nits are what will actually be seen outdoors in general use under bright, direct sunlight.

Compared to the last-generation model, the OnePlus Watch 4 is lighter, thinner, and brighter. However, it also appears to lose the ECG feature of the OnePlus Watch 3.

It has dual-band GPS, a barometric altimeter and the usual optical heart rate array with blood oxygenation readings, but there’s no mention of ECG on the spec sheet. Both generations are also 5ATM water resistant watches.

Few OnePplus Watch 3 owners are likely to feel too much of a pull to upgrade to the Watch 4, then, but it is arguably a significant design tweak. And one that makes greater use of titanium to lower weight.

There’s an obvious question of how much the OnePlus Watch 4 will cost. But there’s a wider question over whether OnePlus will continue to have an active presence in the U.S. and Europe at all going forwards, and where the Watch 4 will be released at all.

This is part of a restructuring of parent company Oppo, following the winding down of Realme in January 2026 — it was another Oppo sub-brand. I’ll keep an eye out for more news on which countries will actually see the OnePlus Watch 4 in shops.
