The cooperation between Skype and Netgear will finally put the topic in front of all telecos, to block or not to block.
The new-born from Skype is definately going to take some shares of voice market. But the traditional PSTN will still be profitable for most business units still rely on the Dial Number.
In my point of view, the relationship between the "new" and the old would be quite like the e-mail and mail. It would build a totally new view of communication rather than one kills the other.
