If you haven’t heard the news, Olivia Rodrigo is the latestCosmo cover star, and during her interview with bestie Madison Hu, she spilled on everything. From OR3 inspo to friendship to ex-flames, Livies got no shortage of insight—especially when Olivia shared the advice she would give her younger self. Spoiler: It was very relatable.

At one point in the conversation, Madison (who starred alongside Liv on Disney Channel’s Bizaardvark for three seasons between 2016 and 2019) asked, “If you could go back to the day we met, what would you tell that Olivia?”

Liv’s response? “I would tell her not to wear some of the outfits that she did. And there’s probably a boy or two that I’d be like, ‘Girl, you could have saved yourself the trouble.’” Oop!

And that wasn’t even the juiciest bit, believe it or not. Elsewhere in the interview, Olivia revealed that “three of the five guys I’ve dated in my life have been Geminis.” In typical Liv fashion, she didn’t name names—but it feels worth mentioning that Louis Partridge, Zack Bia, and Adam Faze are all Geminis. (Just! Saying!)

In addition to offering advice to younger Liv, the pop star also spilled on what she’s “learned about love” over the years. The big thing: patience.

“Things happen the way that they’re supposed to happen. It’s not supposed to be white-knuckle,” she said, later adding, “It’s like that book that I’m obsessed with, the Dolly Alderton book, Everything I Know About Love, I do for my female friends.”

So…what is Olivia’s current relationship status? According to Liv, she’s currently “in the most important phase” of love: “friendship love.” As she explained to Madison, she’s all about putting energy into her friendships and community right now, so “dating is just the cherry on top.”
