Netflix’s second season of Temptation Island is officially available for you to watch (with your jaw dropped), and you’ll be shocked to know that allllll that drama went down in a relatively short span of time. Turns out a few weeks of messiness is all it takes to unravel even the most longterm of relationships! So, what are the filming details for this show? Ahem.
Season 2 was filmed in Hawaii back in August 2025. Meaning, the content you’re seeing play out on screen right now is almost nine months old. A lot can change in that amount of time, which is why we just caught up with a ton of the cast for an update. Including Sydney and Xavier!
Believe it or not, only four weeks—give or take. Back in 2023, USA Network confirmed that “’the couples are actually on the island and away from each other for about a month.” However, it looks like things have gotten even speedier since then, because last year, executive producer David Friedman told Variety “It was a 17 or 18-day shoot. It was 17 days of production, about three and a half weeks of calendar time because there were off days in there for crew and for cast to decompress.”
Basically, this show is like summer camp: extreme bonding and relationship drama in a mere matter of weeks.
