Off Campus does not shy away from nude scenes, and for the most part, things are pretty equal—there's full-frontal male nudity at the end of the season (not from any leads), and several actors on the show go topless. But fans noticed that Allie has nude scenes and Hannah doesn't, leading to some curiosity as to why. But apparently that was always the plan!

Speaking on Amanda Hirsch’s Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Ella Bright explained that Hannah’s role was never going to involve nudity, while Allie’s was—and this was due to their differing personalities.

“For Hannah, the briefing was like partial nudity and for Allie, it had to be full, just because Allie is this like, she's got this amazing confidence about her, and she is so free with her body, and sex is just such an important part of her life,” Ella explained. “It's honestly just showing the difference between these characters.”

She added, "And for Hannah, obviously given her backstory and she dresses more innocently, and she's got the skinny jeans and the hoodies, and it just shows the dichotomy between the characters. That was always from the beginning, the idea. All the Hannahs auditioning knew it was just going to be partial, and for Allie, it was going to be full, so everyone had full understanding of what we were going into.”

Reminder that season 2 of Off Campus will begin production any moment now, and yes, Hannah and Garrett will be back—though the season will be focusing on another couple!
