Off Campus has been a mega hit (specifically in my apartment) and more seasons are incoming on Prime. But how much time will have passed by at Briar U between them? About that!

Showrunner Louisa Levy told The Wrap that each season encompasses just one semester at Briar University, which means we won’t be rushing through the timeline.

“Every season is a semester, so it slows down the time,” Louisa said. “It also allows us to have them be a little more mature, a little older when we meet them, since we are dealing with some spicier, sexier things—the older we can get them in the college bracket helps those of us who are out of college not feel like we’re watching teenagers.”

Based on this, Season 2 will presumably take place directly after the events of Season 1, during the spring semester at Briar. And apparently production is starting next month, which means the show could be back in action pretty soon.

“I have no idea what the release schedule will be, to be honest,” Louisa explained. “I do you know we have certain production restrictions for when we are able to shoot, so we raced into a Season 2 and and we’re going to do our best to turn it around. And whenever Amazon is ready to launch it, that’s when it’ll happen.”

Hopefully Season 2 will drop this time next year if not sooner because I simply cannot wait longer than that, sorry.
