Today through July 5, Prime members who are new subscribers to Audible’s Standard plan will get their first three months free—a no-brainer when it comes to scoring the summer’s hottest audiobooks at a great price. To sweeten the deal, Amazon is also offering a $20 credit, which basically means you can score an additional audiobook (or more) for free.
Not familiar with Audible? Good thing I’m here to serve as your literary fairy godmother. Audible, an Amazon-owned brand, is home to millions of audiobooks, including titles that are exclusive to the platform. With the Standard plan, you’ll get a credit to choose one new audiobook every month. Trust me when I tell you that audiobooks are the perfect companion for long road trips or days spent by the pool!
To make your decision even easier, I read through the fine print. Here’s the gist: Once your three months are up, your membership will auto-renew for $8.99 a month. Again, this deal is exclusive to Amazon Prime members, so make sure you’re signed into your account when you sign up.
Not a Prime member? The deal is a little different for you, but still pretty good! While I personally recommend having an account so you can take advantage of the best Prime Day deals, Audible is offering non-Prime members three months for just $0.99 per month, in addition to the $20 credit. Just note that this deal is only valid for new Audible members—so if you currently have a membership (or are enrolled in a free trial), you’re sadly not eligible. That said, you can take advantage of the $0.99 deal if you’re a previous Audible member or have a lapsed trial.
