I’m Worried This Viral Blow-Dry Brush Will Sell Out Fast ...
Beth Gillette · 2026-06-23 · via Latest Content - Cosmopolitan

It was summer 2019. I’d just graduated from college, never scrolled on TikTok, and wore nothing but skinny jeans. It was bliss, really. But as I was upgrading everything in my life to match my new “adult” self, I took a good, hard look at my hair tools. I’d had the same flat iron since high school, and I didn’t need another curling wand. Then, one of my friends introduced me to the Revlon One-Step Volumizer, a heated hair dryer brush that emits air to blow-dry and style your hair at the same time. I was enamored.

She had ordered hers the year prior on Amazon Prime Day, so I diligently waited until the summertime to snag my own on sale. Since then, it’s been my go-to recommendation every Prime Day. Seriously, I’ve inspired friends, family members, and even strangers to wait until Prime Day to get this deal, because it really is the best price you’ll find. And the tool itself is affordable, easy to use, and works on a huge variety of hair types, textures, and lengths (it’s just as good on my bob haircut as it is my mid-length style now).

Now, the time has come again. It’s Prime Day (or days, rather) from June 23 to June 26 when you can get the famed Revlon One-Step for only $35. I paid more in 2019 (I checked, lol)—a huge feat considering how much more expensive basically everything else is right now.

One-Step Volumizer Plus Hair Dryer and Styler

Here’s the thing with this blow-dry brush and why it continuously goes viral. If you don’t know what a blow-dry brush is yet, lemme intro you to the greatest invention. Basically, it combines your hair dryer and a round brush all in one tool. The hot air comes from around the entirety of the brush, so you don’t have to fiddle with holding a brush and blow dryer at the same time to try to get your perfect blowout. See why they’re so good?

If you just so happened to cut your hair into a bob this summer, it’s a really simple tool to quickly bend your ends in and dry your hair without too much damage. Or it’s fab for getting a chic Zendaya-esque blowout. The bristles are super soft, too, so it makes my hair feel smooth and silky too.

And don’t worry if you’re not a pro with your hair or have limited time. There is essentially no learning curve with the tool, which is why I fell in love with it in the first place. It takes so much of the fuss out of doing a blowout. When I’m short on time, I won’t even section my hair. I just add heat protectant and go right in, always adding a little bit of tension at my roots for more volume. But if I want a more polished look, smoothing in sections will help me get a rounded finish to my ends for a salon effect.

FWIW, the Revlon One-Step Volumizer is known to sell out every year, so I don’t anticipate 2026 to be the exception. Ahead of gifting season, Prime Big Deal Days is expected to be even more popular than ever, meaning you shouldn’t wait it out if you’re interested in something. Add to cart, have good hair days forever, thank me later.
