I’m not going to lie, I had to practice separating the art from the artist for this week’s episode. There’s no doubt that Faye has us all stressed and on the edge of our seats for Sunday’s Euphoria finale. Girl, you made up that there was money in the safe! But, unsurprisingly, Chloe Cherry was a darling from the moment she sat down for her date with Willa (a big feat, by the way: She’s currently taking a break from the dating game). Guessing was pretty easy this week: Actor? Popular TV Show? Euphoria? Blonde hair but didn’t ask for thousands of dollars in floral arrangements or paint an inappropriate picnic? Voilà: Chloe.
This was one of my favorite reader question segments to date. First, Chloe revealed she thought her Euphoria audition was a scam and chatted about being in the same audition room as Dominic Fike. She relates to Faye’s love for color and cutesy stuff (disregard her all-black outfit this episode) but doesn’t understand a lot of her decision-making. Great news, honestly. She especially would never sleep in Wayne’s basement. Not because of Wayne and the drug business…but because you would never catch Chloe sleeping in a basement. Fair! She spoke about how people in life started treating her after her newfound fame and the confidence the show gave her to be herself online. Definitely make sure to soak up her thoughtful insights on the women of Euphoria being heavily involved in sex work this season, and why she decided to pivot from the adult industry back in 2022.
Willa brought out a July 2010 Cosmo, and Chloe gave great takes on the subjectivity of being “good in bed” and who should pay for what in a relationship. Note for anyone who may date Chloe in the future: You better get her whatever she wants for her birthday. Love Audit was filled with more Chloe gems: Pet names and PDA are cute, but leaving your stuff at your ex-partner’s place after a breakup is not. Plan ahead and pack your things up! Anyway, let’s catch up after this Sunday’s finale. See you next week!
