Brush Up on Elizabeth Olsen’s Husband, Robbie Arnett, Now...
2026-06-13 · via Latest Content - Cosmopolitan

So, ICYMI, Elizabeth Olsen is pregnant with her first child, per People, and she let the news slip in the most low-key way: by simply walking around being pregnant. But that’s pretty on-brand for her, considering how she broke the news about being a married woman.

During a convo with Kaley Cuoco for Variety’s Actors on Actors series in June 2021, Elizabeth called her longtime partner, Robbie Arnett, her husband, finally confirming that they’d tied the knot.

"I also just noticed that my husband put Little Miss Magic—you know, the Little Miss books? They're these classic books but 'magic' because of WandaVision because he's such a fucking cutie!" Elizabeth told Kaley in the middle of their convo about shooting Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and WandaVision.

Elizabeth and Robbie reportedly began dating back in February 2017 after they met while vacationing in Mexico. At the time, a source dished to E! News that Elizabeth and Robbie "are in an exclusive relationship and Lizzie is excited about him."

The insider continued, saying, "She deserves it. It's very new though, but they seem to like each other a lot already." Then, by September of that year, the two made their ~official~ 'ship debut at a pre-Emmy party in Los Angeles:

Quick fast-forward to now and the duo are married and expecting their first child together! From co-writing a book together to traveling the world for philanthropic trips, Elizabeth and Robbie are truly the definition of couple goals. So if you're curious to find out more intel about just who Robbie is, you've come to the right place! Let's get into it, starting with the fact that...

He’s a musician

Yep, turns out Robbie is a part of the Los Angeles-based band Milo Greene. The trio of singer-songwriters actually released their self-titled debut album in 2012, and then followed it up with their 2015 project Control and in 2018 with Adult Contemporary.

In case you were wondering where the group got its name, we can give ya insight on that straight from Robbie himself, who told NPR in 2012, "We wanted a booking agent, a manager, so we created a Gmail and starting sending people emails, calling people, on behalf of Milo Greene." Soon thereafter, the singers were able to secure tons of gigs, and, eventually, Milo Greene became their actual band name IRL. The more you know!

And, obvi, Elizabeth counts herself as a fan. Back in August 2017 while she and Robbie were still dating, the actor gave her beau a v cute shoutout on Sway in the Morning, and gushed that her "boyfriend's in a cool band."

He’s into philanthropy

In fact, in 2018, Robbie joined Elizabeth when she collaborated with the nonprofit organization The Latitude Project to host a trip to Nicaragua after Hurricane Nate to build fresh water remedies alongside locals.

Not only did the two have a great time aiding the charitable cause, but they also took the time to share their favorite parts of the trip in an Instagram interview. Robbie mused, "This was my first trip to Nicaragua, and it was incredibly powerful…it was humbling, and it was something that I'll never forget."

He’s a published author

Get this: Robbie and Elizabeth co-wrote a book! The duo teamed up to pen Hattie Harmony: Worry Detective, which debuted in June 2022. According to Penguin Random House, the project is "a fresh approach to wellness in a new series that shows children ways to manage anxiety." Oh, and it also got a sequel!

Upon its release, Elizabeth opened up to People and dished, "Robbie and I couldn't be more thrilled to introduce the world to Hattie Harmony. Inspired by the picture books we adored as kids, we hope that Hattie will become a friend and a welcomed reminder to be kind to yourself and to each other."

During an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Elizabeth was promoting the book and credited Robbie for coming up with the book's title, saying, "That's my husband. He's very clever." S'cute!

The couple lived together in London at one point

After Elizabeth finished filming WandaVision, she relocated to London to work on Marvel’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, per Variety. And clearly the couple couldn't stay apart because Robbie wound up joining his wife for the move—a revelation Elizabeth touched on during an appearance on the podcast Table Manners with Jessie W.

"I’m having the greatest time," she said. "I’m with my man partner and we’re in Richmond…We’re living this British dream, in this house, in Richmond right by the water. We want to figure out how to stay here so now we want to write a rom-com…because we don’t wanna leave," she continued before adding, "I have such an affinity for England already that last year we were looking into how we could legally live here."

They’re super low-key about their marriage

As in, it wasn't until a year after Robbie and Elizabeth actually got married that it was confirmed that they did, indeed, tie the knot. Then, after that, Elizabeth confirmed in an interview with SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Show that her and Robbie's nuptials were actually a while back, like pre-pandemic.

"We eloped and then we had a wedding at another time and it was before COVID," the actor shared. And TBH, it's kiiiind of a good thing things happened when they did because afterward Elizabeth had to work in England, which would have been a major issue for them logistically had they not been married. "There are visa issues with that. We luckily, like, timed things out accidentally really well," she recalled with a laugh. "He wouldn't have been able to come at all." TL;DR: Everything happens for a reason, people!

Aaaaaand that's pretty much all we know for now, but def make sure to check back here for any more updates on these two soon-to-be-parents!
