Anyone else ready to once again make House of the Dragon your whole personality? Great, same, mostly because James Norton of years long “might be the next James Bond” fame just joined the cast as Lord Ormund Hightower for season 3. So, obviously, the time has come to casually ask life’s eternal question (is James Norton single?) and dig into his relationship history a bit—which is notoriously private.

As James himself put it to The Guardian, “I’ve always tried to balance authenticity with privacy. I want to be honest but I don’t want to talk about my relationships at all and I don’t like it when I get photographed with a friend walking down the street and it’s then told the next day like it’s a romance. Another romance!”

On that note!

James and Imogen were first spotted in December 2017 and fell for each other while starring as a couple in Belleville. Clearly he has a type! That type being actors that he works with, so get me to an audition.

James and Imogen stayed together for six years and even got engaged but eventually split up. He spoke pretty candidly about the breakup, saying, “It happened in a very abrupt way, and it happened kind of to me, and I thought that I was on a path. I was about to have kids, about to get married, all that kind of stuff, and my life just turned around, completely changed direction.”

He continued, “I thought I lost the person, but I also lost the life that I was about to lead, and the kids that we named, all that kind of stuff. And actually, in the last year and a half, I have gone through the most monumental change as a result, and I feel like I've grown up, I feel like I've become a man.”

More recently, James told The Guardian, “That happened naturally and amicably. Two actors going out is always challenging because of scheduling. We were traveling a lot. And that was one of many factors that brought a very happy relationship to an end.”

Charlotte and James dated for a couple months and were even papped together, with a source telling The Sun, “They have been enjoying dates and seem very happy together. It has been a year since his relationship with Imogen ended and he appears to get on so well with Charlotte. They make a lovely couple.”

They reportedly split after just about six months together.

Lily and James were linked after being spotted at Glastonbury, when an eyewitness told The Sun that “James and Lily looked very into each other and they were snogging backstage. We were all quite surprised to see them there together, let alone kissing.”

James told The Guardian a week later, “I’m not snogging them! Funny that, isn’t it? Look, I’m a man in London going on occasional dates, meeting people, living my life, and it’s kind of no one’s business really.”

So, in conclusion, James’s current relationship status is GOING ON OCCASIONAL DATES.
