Turns out the First Monday in May is also one of the most romantic nights of the year, because dozens of couples walked the 2026 Met Gala red carpet together. Which makes sense—it’s a date night that’s pretty hard to pass up! Everyone from Venus Williams and Andrea Preti to Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster stepped out for this iconic carpet, and we also got a few couple debuts! Reminder: This year’s theme is “Costume Art,” while the dress code is pretty open for interpretation as “Fashion Is Art.”
