It’s a great time to be a Tater Tot. Tate McRae OBVIOUSLY made it on the 2026 Met Gala invite list (the most coveted guest list maybe…ever?) and just showed up on the red carpet to celebrate the “Costume Art” theme. Her look? A fully gold gown that had her looking like a Grecian goddess. Someone get Christopher Nolan on the phone!

Tate chatted about her style last year with Vogue, saying she only recently started expressing herself through fashion. “Before, I don’t think I’d focused on fashion that much in my creative vision,” she explained. “It’s always been more about the dance or the singing, and this time, the fashion was a big part of telling the story. I think just as you get older, your taste changes, and you’re kind of down to try new things. Earlier in my career, I could be a little stubborn in what I wore or how I looked, but now I just get excited to go onto music video sets and play dress-up and try on my favorite shoes and dresses and be able to step into a new character.”

So glad she’s firmly in her fashion girlie era.
