Euphoria is back on our screens—and so is Euphoria makeup. Yes, that means more graphic liner, glitter-drenched lids, and, of course, rhinestones. After all, eyeshadow is having a moment right now, so there’s no better time to lock into your creativity and attempt all the whimsical, edgy, and downright mesmerizing looks yourself.

In honor of the final season, we recreated some of the best makeup looks from the series (old and new) and broke down exactly how to do it yourself, including all the products and tools you’ll need. Season 3 jumps five years ahead, and while the characters are all grown up now, Donni Davy, head makeup artist for Euphoria, told us the makeup is just as iconic, and the vibe is feral. “This is the most glam season yet, so think, a strong eye and a strong lip,” she says.

Trust, we’ll be sat every Sunday taking notes on the coolest looks from each new episode, and updating this roundup as the season airs, so you can get all the tips, tricks, and inspo. Hint: Euphoria makeup is way less intimidating than it looks once you start experimenting, and a lot of these looks rely on the same core products and palettes.

But first, your “Euphoria” makeup essentials

Maddy Perez (Alexa Demie)’s Neutral Matte Look

Season 3 Maddy has a more mature look, with cool-toned neutral eyeshadow and a warm nude lip, but it’s still as fierce as ever as she enters her boss-babe era. We did notice she has thinner brows, but we do not recommend plucking your brows into oblivion, you will regret it. Instead, just comb and shape your brows into a thinner line, rather than fluffing them.

Rue’s glitter tears are one of the most iconic looks from the show, and it doesn’t take much since it’s all about the eyes. The base of Rue’s look is a smoked-out neutral eye with heavy black eyeliner. First, I applied a brown that’s a little darker than my complexion (like bronzer shade) to give my eye some depth, then I went in with a creamy gel eyeliner that you can easily smudge out on upper and lower lid. I went over that with a dark brown shadow for a more smoked-out, smoldering look.

Apply glitter however you prefer, whether you choose to do a single stream teardrop or a smudged-out messier look like mine. Using Urban Decay’s Moondust Glitter Eyeliner, it’s pretty easy to draw on the tears thanks to its thin brush. Rue also has subtle white-silver shimmer on her brow bone, and for that I used my finger to dab on glitter eyeshadow.

We can all thank Maddy for bringing back dramatic winged liner. Out of all her graphic liner looks, we had to recreate this severe double wing. Like the previous look, start off with a subtle neutral eye, then using a creamy gel liner, line your waterline and lash line to really give it opaque depth. Now, you’re ready to draw on your wing, and I recommend using a pigmented liquid liner with a stiff pointed felt tip for easy control, like Maybelline’s Eyestudio Master Precise Liquid Eyeliner.

Personally, I like to first follow along my top lash line, then put a small dot where I want the line to end (in this case, angled upwards but still parallel to the end of my brows), and then connect the dot to my lash line. It should form a triangle that you can fill in. Or, you can use a credit card or an eyeliner guide.

Then, from your lower lash line, draw a straight line parallel to the wing, and extend the wing a tiny bit towards your inner corner. It’s okay if you mess up, because you’re going to use Half Magic’s eraser pen to carefully clean up the area in between your top and bottom wing to create a gap. To clean it up further, take a tiny bit of brightening concealer on a small flat brush like E.l.f.’s small smudge brush and apply it between the double wing.

Kat Hernandez (Barbie Ferreira)’s Blue Shadow

Kat sported blue shadow several times throughout seasons 1 and 2, so we can consider it her signature look. Plus, Y2K-inspired cool tones, like blue, are especially on trend right now. For Kat’s mesmerizing icy, duochrome blue lid, I applied Kulfi’s Zari Eyes Cream Eyeshadow in Disco Dreams all over my lid, then took a darker blue hue, like Bono from the Juvia’s Place Culture Palette and blended it into my crease for more depth. I lined my lower lash line with a navy blue eyeliner and blended the shadow into it as well. Then, I lined my top lash line with a black liquid liner with a subtle wing and applied mascara.

Kat often pairs her blue lids with a brick-orange or orange-red lip. I used Merit’s Signature Lipstick in Tiger, but you can also use Maybelline’s Super Stay Liquid Lip in Ground Breaker orMakeup by Mario’s Super Satin Lipstick in Rockefeller.

Cassie Howard (Sydney Sweeney)’s Pin-Up-Inspired Makeup

Anvita Reddy for Cosmopolitan

Cassie’s pin-up-inspired makeup juxtaposes the metal, grungy color story of her look, and it works so well. It’s a classic smokey eye, but with silver, cooler tones, and a ton of sparkles. I used a true shimmery silver tone all over my lid, and then used a darker, gunmetal non-shimmery gray to smoke it out towards my outer corner. Then, I lined my upper lash line and subtly smoked it out. For that extra glittery look, I topped it off with Urban Decay’s Moondust Glitter Eyeshadow Single in Cosmic.

For the Twiggy-inspired lower lash line, I used white eyeliner to line my waterline, then used a liquid liner to add small black dots along my lash line to mimic the look of cluster lashes, and then added volumizing mascara liberally. Cassie also wore cluster falsies on her top and bottom lash line for a more dramatic, exaggerated look.

Jules’s makeup is more experimental than the rest, and she has sported red eyeshadow a few times in the show. For this look, I used Kulfi Underlined Kajal Eyeliner in Tiger Queen to line my eyes liberally and set it and blended it out with a red or brick-toned shadow (you can use the bottom leftmost shade in the Juvia’s Place Culture Palette). For the lime green accent, I used a stiff angled brow brush and Kulfi’s Zari Eyes Cream Eyeshadow in Chammak Challo to draw out the graphic line accents towards the inner corner. The Culture Palette also has a lime green shade that you can mix with your setting spray or a mixing medium to create a liner, or you can create the look using About-Face’s Eye Paint and Line Artist.

Cassie’s Rhinestone Wing

While Maddy’s wings are more powerful and sharp with a pigmented black liner, Cassie tends to sport a more whimsical wing accented with rhinestones. We especially adore this dreamy pink frosty look that has gems accenting her wing, inner corner, and forming a perimeter around her shadow.

Kat’s Yellow Eyeshadow

Kat’s beautiful marigold yellow eye features so much depth. To achieve the look, Colourpop’s Fade Into Hue Eyeshadow Palette has a column of yellow hues to create that dimension and a few shimmery lavender shades for that inner corner highlight. But before you start the look, we recommend priming the eye with a light-toned eyeshadow base so the colors apply as vividly as possible. Finish off with wispy false lashes.
