Celebs are gathering on the 2026 Met Gala red carpet faster than you can say “I’m currently pantsless on the couch,” and whomst just showed up? Everyone’s favorite Short n’ Sweet singer, Sabrina Carpenter.

The Grammy winner is a member of this year’s Host Committee alongside the likes of Doja Cat and Teyana Taylor (among others!), and she fully came through for the “Fashion Is Art” theme, wearing a ’20s-inspired dress made from literal film that she looks soooo happy to be in.

And if you look closely, it seems like the film has photos of the movie Sabrina on it.

Sooo cool.

Sabrina spoke about her personal style with W Magazine a couple of years back, saying she finds inspiration in vintage Hollywood. “I look at old photos of Brigitte Bardot and Jane Birkin and even young Dolly [Parton]; a lot of the things they wore feel very close to the things that I like to wear now,” she said. “Obviously, I also take a lot from my mom, when she was younger. She used to wear these cute little sets, and I feel like now I’m very much a set girl. I find inspiration all over the place. It’s been a minute since I’ve named-dropped Rihanna in an interview, because I told myself I had to slow down, but Rihanna is always one of my main style icons as well.”

Sabrina also gave her biggest style advice, which I will be stealing: “I remember something that someone said to me once. It was like, ‘Honey, you should always leave the house as if you’re going to run into your ex.’ And I’ve followed that advice from that day forward.”
