Love Island USA season 8 has already had its fair share of drama but there have been so many surprises, and not just within the villa—very interesting things have been happening for the contestants online, too. Case in point: Sol Dean’s Instagram has received a bump of attention since joining the show—from viewers, yes, but also ~certain~ celebrities.
An eagle eyed user on X shared a screenshot from Instagram that showed none other than Michael B. Jordan liking one of Sol’s posts allllll the way from 2025, when she celebrated her 24th birthday in November of that year.
One user in the comments section of the post alleged, “Sol is my friend, he been in her likes since way before the villa lol,” while another noted that Michael’s Like history tracks: “He be tuned tf in cause why was he in Andreina’s likes last year too.”
Regardless of what it all means, Sol is in the villa and recently explored her feelings with Gabriel Vasconcelos by sharing a kiss with him. Turns out, the kiss was very informative for her.
“Gabe, he's obviously handsome. But I can taste people's pheromones when I’m kissing them,” she explained in her confessional, adding that is shifted her interest in him in the opposite direction. “Sometimes it just turns me off. My body's just like, ‘That was not it, girl.’”
As a friendly reminder, the show issued a warning to its viewers to be respectful of the members of the cast. “The Villa runs on good vibes, and so does this community. We love seeing your reactions, opinions, and debates, but everyone deserves to feel safe and respected,” the show wrote in a statement ahead of the premiere. “This is a space for fun, not negativity - so keep it kind, keep it positive, and remember: this is LOVE Island!”
