Alex says in a statement, “Alix took the U.S. by storm with her ‘get ready with me’ videos, college lifestyle, and endearing personality. I feel honored to be at a place in my career where I can pass along knowledge and advice for a new generation of creators to flourish.”
Alix’s dad, TJ Earle, hints at drama in an episode of Hot Mess, saying he’s had to have “hard conversations with people.”

Variety reports that Unwell has dropped Alix’s Hot Mess podcast.
A source tells Us Weekly, “They’ve had a lot of drama between them [since] they decided to collaborate on Unwell. They clashed over business, and their friendship is over because of it.”
Another insider adds that “Alix is working on bigger projects not related to the podcast space. Alix’s dad got more involved in her business decisions and did not like what Unwell was doing. He ultimately thought it ended up not being a smart business move.”
Alix hops on TikTok and says “There’s been a lot of chatter online this week about me and work. I also have no idea what’s going on.”
Alix drops a TikTok saying she’s pausing her podcast, saying “I have to put a pause on podcasting right now for the foreseeable future. Don’t really want to get into the details of it all, and I kind of can’t get into the details of it all right now, but I’ve loved it so, so much, and I’m really proud of what I built with the podcast.”
Alex denies that she is the reason Alix is no longer doing her podcast.
Alix cryptically talks about her Unwell departure with The Wall Street Journal, saying “That was, behind the scenes, a little bit of a hot mess.”
Alix kinda goes off on TikTok, saying “My Co–Star told me that I can start shit today. I mean, is this my time that I’ve been waiting for to go? I have so much information. We could go. I wake up every day, and I’m like, ‘What should I do Co-Star?’ And today, it’s like, ‘Revenge. Let’s go get ’em.’”
She then responds to a commenter who wrote “Yes, tell us what happened with Alex Cooper thank you,” with “How much time do you have?”
Alex uses “Circus” by Britney Spears to caption an Instagram post highlighting Unwell events in Vegas, which everyone thinks is pointed since Alix danced to the song on DWTS. The post has since been deleted!
Alix allegedly reposts this TikTok coming for Alex:
Alex drops a TikTok calling out Alix for being passive-aggressive with her reposts and reminding her that she never signed an NDA.
“Hey girl, the passive aggressive reposts and the likes and the commenting on things—I’ve got to call you out here,” Alex says. “You’re going to need to get specific and just say what you’ve got to say about me. There’s no NDA. No one is stopping you. Stop hiding behind other people and just say it yourself.”
She adds, “What’s the beef? ‘Cause I’m really tired of waking up and seeing you using this fake drama to distract from other shit going online from you. Not interested. I know what happened, and so do you. So talk. Unless the fake narrative that you’re creating happens to be way more interesting than the truth. I have nothing to hide when it comes to you and me. So unless you actually have something to say, I’m out, this is over, have a good Monday everyone.”

Meanwhile, David Portnoy chimes in with what he’s heard, saying Alix was “too big” when she was signed to Unwell, and that there was drama over them sharing the same PR person and a Carl’s Jr. commercial that Alix starred in. As he profoundly put it, “Go back to Carl’s burger.”
