Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are getting married in a mere matter of weeks, and apparently there’s one strict rule for guests: absolutely no gifts.
San Francisco 49ers player George Kittle (who co-founded Tight End University with Travis) revealed that the couple made it clear they don’t want anyone to get them presents, explaining to ExtraTV, “They said absolutely no gifts. But I was thinking, Travis, for some reason, likes old coins, so I might get him an old coin.”
Wow, genuinely obsessed with the idea of giving Travis and Taylor an old coin for their wedding.
Soooo, when/where is said wedding? There have been plenty of rumors ranging from Rhode Island to New York City, but the latest reports claim that Taylor and Travis will be throwing a giant reception for 1,000 friends/family at Madison Square Garden on July 3. Though, sources say they’ll likely be getting married somewhere more private in the days before the big party.
For those of you feeling shocked that they’d throw their wedding celebration somewhere as public as MSG, it’s actually pretty private despite being in the middle of New York City. There are no windows (meaning no paparazzi pics), there’s built-in security, the venue’s used to dealing with high-profile clients and events (Taylor’s performed there in the past), and there’s underground parking ensuring that the wedding party and all the guests can arrive secretly if they choose to. In other words: the most public venue possible might actually be the most private?
