It’s been a crazy couple of weeks since the drama between Amanda Batula, West Wilson, Ciara Miller and the rest of the Summer House cast unfolded, and surprise! It’s literally only going to get crazier when the rest of the reunion finale airs. But until then, cast members Carl Radke reflected on filming the reunion, and revealed that the cast still doesn’t have much clarity on Amanda and West’s timeline.
“It was confusing in the moment. We're all...processing it in real time,” he said in a recent interview with TMZ. “I still think a lot of us are confused as to what's going on, and that's what made it hard to move forward because we just don’t really understand.” And to make matters worse, the entire reunion special “was all one day. “
As for what fans can expect from the next two installments of the Summer House reunion special, Carl explained, “There's a lot more that happens with the obvious, and then there's other stuff that has bubbled up later on that people didn't realize. Also in a good way, Kyle and I come together, we had a big fight at the end of the summer. It's going to get way more intense.”
When asked if the rest of the cast will ever be able to fully get behind Amanda and West’s relationship, Carl didn’t want to completely write off that possibility but noted “right now, it feels like that’s really hard. I think there's a lot of shit that we’re learning, figuring out.”
He offered his relationship with Lindsay Hubbard as an example that things can improve one day, saying, “Me and Lindsay have been friendly and have been in a good place, which has been really nice. I never thought we'd ever do that ever again, so it's been nice to see that we can be friendly,” adding that “we’ll see” about Amanda and West—that’s if their relationship lasts.
When the cameraman asked “Does this couple stay together?” Carl replied, “Absolutely not!” so, uh…there’s that.
