As fans continuously swoon at the sweet romances (and mourn the breakups) that have come from Netflix’s latest season of Love on the Spectrum, a fifth season has already been greenlit and is reportedly in the works.
While casting details for season 5 haven’t been revealed just yet, a new report from The Sun alleges that producers are “leaning into the show’s most viral and emotional moments” from last season. According to an insider, the reality series will bring back some fan favorites while introducing fresh faces to “shake up” the show.
Logan, who recently joined the cast, is rumored to be returning after becoming a “breakout” during season 4.

“Madison and Tyler are fully on board and the show is excited to showcase their engagement,” the source added, also confirming that “James and Shelly may take a backseat but plan to be featured in some way.”
Since Abbey and David called it quits off-camera after season 4 aired, fans are also curious to see how they continue to navigate their love lives. They were together for almost five years, as much of their relationship was documented on the hit series, but per The Sun’s insider, there’s a chance we won’t see more of David anytime soon.
“Abbey will most likely be back on to explore her new single life, but David seems to be done with the show; he most likely won’t come back,” they explained.

Ahead of the season 4 premiere, Netflix confirmed the beloved reality show will be returning for a fifth season, but a release date has yet to be sorted out. As for when filming starts, The Sun reports that production will kick off in May.
“Who all is coming back, and if they’re fully cast or just partially featured, is something that gets worked out until filming is done,” the source shared, adding, “It’s always changing.”
Of course, we’re taking all this with a grain of salt until Netflix confirms anything, but one thing’s for sure: We must see how Madison and Tyler’s wedding planning goes!
