Before discovering Gap jeans, I was perhaps the world’s biggest denim hater. I could never find a pair that fit me properly, felt comfortable, and worked for the office and nights out in New York City. Just when I thought I was doomed to wear a denim-free wardrobe for the rest of my life, I spontaneously added a pair of Gap jeans to cart…and the rest was history.

The pair Hailey wears on repeat checks all of the boxes: The baggy silhouette lends any outfit a cool model-off-duty feel, but they retain their shape around the hips and butt. Plus, the dark wash looks polished enough for workplaces where denim is in the dress code. And at 51% off, it’s a deal that’s likely to sell out in a matter of days.
It’s no secret that Gap has majorly leveled up its game in recent years—although I’m here to argue that she’s kind of always been that girl—with ridiculously soft cashmere sets and polished basics that look so much more expensive than their price tag would suggest.

When it comes to denim, I’m all aboard the baggy train, and luckily, Gap is too. I have four pairs of the Mid Rise Baggy Denim (a girl needs a variety of washes, okay?) that I wear on repeat, whether it’s with a chunky knit during the winter or with a simple tank and flip-flops for a Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy vibe in the summer.
