Due to being a relatively low-key celebrity who isn’t out here documenting his day-to-day on TikTok, Dónal has yet to inform a bunch of strangers on the internet about whom he’s dating.

Dónal was invited to the 2026 Met Gala, and got some attention for leaving the event with fellow period girlie Daisy Edgar-Jones (who’s starring in the upcoming Sense & Sensibility adaptation).
Yes, they make a very hot couple…but no, they aren’t dating and probably aren’t about to start dating anytime soon considering Daisy’s in a relationship with a photographer named Ben Seed—or at least she was last time we checked!
Thanks to The Other Bennet Sister press tour being very romance-heavy, a lot! He spoke to Bustle about yearning, saying “It’s that conviction in believing that you want to make this person’s life better, and that you’re willing to lie down in traffic for them. That commitment to being part of someone’s life requires a lot of confidence in your decision. I don’t think you can yearn for many people at the same time.”
He added, “I find that moving—and maybe in a more modern lifestyle, it’s slightly lost. We miss it, and we welcome that kind of conviction in our stories. We’ve all had crushes, and we all ache to find out what is going on in that person’s mind and how they feel about us, and summoning the courage to bring your heart to them and find out how they’re gonna act when they receive it.”
