Has your feed been inundated with claims that Sabrina Carpenter and Bad Bunny left the Met Gala together and are casually dating? About that!

Due to the fact that they’re both talented and hot, the internet really wants Sabrina and Benito to date—especially since Sabrina posted this a few months back:

And now claims that there’s “footage” of them leaving the Met Gala together have been making the rounds, leading to even more dating speculation. However, turns out they fully left separately. Sorry! This was confirmed by DeuxMoi, who posted the below photo of Sabrina’s packed car (no Bad Bunny to be found) and wrote “Despite online rumors, Sabrina Carpenter did not leave a Met Gala afterparty with Bad Bunny, she left the event with friends.”

Meanwhile, Sabrina was actually seen on the red carpet shutting down speculation about her dating life on the steps of the Met.

In other words, she seems very much in her single era, and has remained extremely private about her dating life since splitting from Barry Keoghan. Last year, Sabrina told Rolling Stone “Am I doing the single thing right now? I'm doing the 25-year-old thing right now, whatever that means.”

She added, “People underestimate how tricky it is to navigate being a young woman, having relationships, and then having a bunch of strangers have opinions on them. Because surely, all of these people that are commenting, if they had the same microscope on their personal lives, I don’t think they’d be as eloquently spoken as me. I know it’s a tale as old as time. It’s just unfortunate that it’s still a tale.”
