There’s one thing I know for sure: a good pair of cowboy boots will take you far. And while you might’ve been preparing to put away your boots for the summer season, I’m here to let you know that they can stay ready-to-go for the next few months, too.
In the last few years, we’ve seen an influx of Western wear taking over everything. From concert outfits to festival season, cowboy boots are shaping all of our favorite outfits. As a Southern girl myself, I own so many pairs and throw them on with just about anything in my closet. So, I’m here to help you do the same. Below I’ve rounded up some major style inspiration so you can wear your cowboy boots this summer, too.

Jorts have been all the rage the last few seasons, so pairing them with a pair of cowboy boots is a surefire way to be very on trend. A fun colored pair like these silver and green ones go great with a neutral outfit. It’s a way to bring in a pop of color without having to think too hard.

Denim and cowboy boots go so well together, it’s a shock they aren’t an old married couple. Whether it be daisy dukes or something more elevated like this button-up dress, pairing your boots with some fun denim is as true as it gets.

From boleros to marching band jackets, we’ve seen an increase of suede vest moments recently, and this look is a perfect example of that. Throwing on a stylish knee-high pair of boots with a memorable vest is an east outfit combination you won’t regret.

The real star of this look is the brown suede boots. Going Western is already fun, but adding texture to a look is a great idea, too. Especially on those cooler summer days.

This type of cut-out minidress is perfect if you plan to be out all day. It’s a showstopper during the day, but its playful elements make it something that can take you from lunch to a Western-themed bar all in one look.

There’s nothing I love more than a good color combo. If you’re interested in straying away from the traditional black cowboy boots, then going with a pop of color like red, and pairing them with a yellow dress, is a style treat.

Micro shorts have taken over the world. We see them on all our favorite celebrities (hello, Addison Rae and Bella Hadid!). So, throwing on your pair with some cowboy boots needs to be at the top of your mood boards this summer.

For the cool girls, a moment like this is a fun way to lean into wearing cowboy boots. It almost feels like you’re mixing aesthetics. From the oversized blazer to the ripped capri shorts and ankle-length cowboy boots, we’re seeing a gelling of worlds that make absolute sense together.

When it doubt match your shoes to your dress. It’s an easy and chic way to standout even when you’re not trying to think too hard about your outfit.

We’ve seen sports wear take off, especially now that the World Cup is here. Pairing your boots with a sports jersey of your choosing is a simple way to be on trend, yet also fashion-forward.
