West Wilson won’t be returning to Summer House Season 11, and—shockingly—it isn’t just because of his scandal with Amanda Batula. I mean, sure, blowing up the entire friend group for a secret hookup definitely makes things trickier, but apparently the real reason West was axed is because he…tried to get his castmates fired?

An Us Weekly source says that West “tried to get Kyle [Cooke], Lindsay [Hubbard] and Carl [Radke] fired. His goal was to be with Amanda and then just film with his friends.”

Apparently West “told producers that Lindsay shouldn’t film pregnant and being a new mom because it’s a show about singles and having fun in the summer. Amanda knew about that and Lindsay was pissed.” As for Kyle and Carl, West tried to make them “look bad” and told producers that Summer House “would be better with him and new friends.”

Truly wild behavior considering Kyle, Lindsay, and Carl are part of the original Summer House cast and West is relatively new.

Meanwhile, Lindsay seemingly confirmed that West tried to get her fired, writing on Threads, “West has tried to threaten my career / show now 3 times and it’s quite frankly, disgusting. No other word to describe it. First was when he went on a podcast after I had Gemma and told everyone there’s “no way” I could come back to SH. We should have known then, he’s not smart, but here we are. Then, with his diabolical decision making skills to manipulate Amanda into dating him and threaten the status of our friend group and future of the show. And now, trying to get people not to watch Tuesday’s episode (that he participated in btw). So that’s the kind of dude he is…in case anyone still had questions.”
