Our beauty muse Doja Cat loves a maximalist glam moment (her 2023 feline, rhinestone-covered Met Gala look still lives rent free in my head), but this year she switched it up with a bold, modern take on classic glam. Stepping out in a latex-esque dress, she kept her makeup neutral-toned with a defined lip and an even sharper eyeliner situation. It’s a graphic spin on ’90s glam that looks like a work of art in itself, and Cosmo got all the exclusive details.

“Her eye look leans into the bat wing eyeliner trend,” her makeup artist Ivan Núñez tells Cosmo. “I wanted her to be the living art, and for me, that came through using MAC to sculpt, define, and layer textures that felt elevated but still expressive.” Both the lip and eyeliner took center stage, like a sharp sketch coming to life.
