It’s Connor Storrie’s world and we’re just living in it! The Heated Rivalry star just made his Met Gala debut for “Costume Art,” showing up on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art looking stuuuuunning. Like, this man is a Greek statue come to life! And in case you’re wondering, he nailed the “Fashion Is Art” dress code, wearing a sleek black suit by Saint Laurent with a draping black-and-white polka-dot scarf.

Connor chatted about being thrust into the fashion spotlight during a post–Heated Rivalry interview with the Hollywood Reporter, saying, “Fashion was never really on my mind before getting into this world. The thing is about nice things is you don’t know why you like nice things until you start being around nice things. I was never a car guy and then the first time you get in a really nice car, you’re like, ‘Oh, I get why people pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to get a nice car.’ It’s kind of the same thing with clothes. Getting to wear designer clothes, you’re like, ‘Oh, I understand why people spend the money if they have it.’ Nice things are nice and it feels good and sexy to be in nice things.”

Connor also recently spoke to Vogue Adria about his sudden fame, saying, “I consciously try to be present and aware of what’s happening, because it’s very easy to forget when you’re constantly on the treadmill. There’s so much going on. I put a lot of energy into staying grounded in where I am, what I’m doing, who I’m speaking to. I also limit my time online, how much I expose myself to both positive and negative commentary. We often forget—especially because of social media—that just because everyone has a public platform for their opinion doesn’t mean it is really important. It comes and goes. Someone being loud doesn’t make them right. I’ve also realized I need a creative outlet. After a few weeks of not writing, creating, thinking, planning, I feel lost. I need tactile things to ground me. Making music, writing, planning films. That brings me back to my center. That’s where I have control. Where I’m not just playing a role.”
