Hands up if you're wildly jealous of all the girls who get into La Casita during a Bad Bunny concert (looking at you, Alix Earle). Two of those lucky girlies are Michelle and Anne, who came face to face with the singer during his first concert in Arnhem.

Lucky for you (and for myself), Michelle gave Cosmo all the insider info about how to score a spot in Bad Bunny’s Casita, from the scouting process to the invitation to the after-party.

How do you get scouted for La Casita?

Michelle says she took over the tickets for Bad Bunny’s concert from someone else five days in advance. So the plan to go actually came about very last-minute. And although she had seen on TikTok beforehand that scouts were walking around, it wasn't on her mind at that moment.

“About fifteen minutes before the show started, Anne and I went to the restroom. I waited for her by a big fan, until two men walked up and approached me,” Michelle says. She realized pretty quickly that they were the scouts, because they were wearing crew caps and one of them spoke Spanish.

“The scouts asked me if I was alone, and I said I was with a friend. And when they asked me if I wanted to go to La Casita, I immediately said I wanted to bring my friend. At that moment Anne walked over, they looked at her and said: ‘Let’s go.’”

What rules do you have to follow at La Casita?

Michelle and Anne were taken backstage by security, where they were thoroughly checked. Their phones had to go into a lockable pouch and the rules were explained to them. According to Michelle, “We weren't allowed to look into the cameras on stage, we had to dance and radiate fun. We also weren't allowed to touch Bad Bunny or approach him. Strict rules, but we understood.”

When they walked into La Casita, it immediately felt like girlhood. Michelle says, “There was a bar and about ten girls were already sitting there. Everyone introduced themselves to each other and it was very wholesome. Everyone was thinking the same thing: ‘What is happening to us right now?’”

When I ask Michelle how it was decided who stood at the front, she explains how everyone took turns giving each other a little moment at the front. “I'm quite tall myself, so I didn't mind standing at the back at all,” she adds. Also nice to know: In between, the girls could get drinks and cool off inside.

What happens inside La Casita?

Michelle and Anne ultimately stood in La Casita for about eight songs. Michelle says, “Bad Bunny started his show on the main stage and later came to La Casita. There he mostly walked around. At one point he walked very close past us and we made eye contact. We could almost touch him, but because of the rules, of course, we didn't. We were completely in shock and only realized afterward how close he was.”

Once home, she was completely overwhelmed and couldn't sleep until an hour later because of all the adrenaline. “I had to explain to all my friends that I hadn't been able to send anything from the concert because I was in La Casita without my phone. I think it's a shame that I have hardly any photos and that I have to make do with footage that appears online, but I think that's exactly the point: living in the moment,” Michelle continues.

How to get into La Casita yourself

According to Michelle, the girls who were inside La Casita were all pretty casual. And that is also her tip: “The scouts were simply looking for girls with a good vibe—who were dancing and having fun. I think they are wary of extreme fangirls and that you actually have to be a bit nonchalant.” Noted.

How to get an invitation to the after-party

I was keeping my cool until Michelle told me that she got an invitation to go to the after-party. “While I was being scouted, one of the crew members asked for my Instagram. Via DM, he asked what the best place to go out in Amsterdam was and whether we wanted to come along. I don't know if that was just with the crew or also with Bad Bunny himself, but in the end we didn't do it because we were so exhausted.”

After-party or not, the girls describe the concert as an evening they will never forget. Michelle says, “When I saw people crying with emotion, I only then realized how special he is to so many people. I thought: how special that I get to stand here. There are many people who dream of this. But I will cherish the experience forever. Once a La Casita girlie, forever a La Casita girlie.”
