Hey, Taylor Swift! If you’re still looking for something borrowed, might we suggest Kendall Jenner’s Met Gala 2026 dress? As we all know, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are heading to the chapel and they’re going to get married. And like most of the internet, we’re constantly thinking about that (reportedly) July wedding.

Hear me out: What better place to scout wedding week outfits than during fashion’s biggest night? In our list of our favorite looks of the night, the best dress for Taylor Swift’s wedding superlative goes to: Kendall’s white GapStudio gown.

Kendall worked closely with designer Zac Posen to create this look. It was inspired by Winged Victory of Samothrace, the second-century Greek statue of the goddess of victory that welcomes visitors to the Louvre. Taylor, we know you love history and learning (English teacher core!), so the inspiration alone is proof this dress needs to be in your wedding week rotation, stat.

Zac brought a modern design to the ancient statue, using the Gap classic white t-shirt as a starting point, blending tea-dyed jersey with leather, chiffon, and organza to create the final piece. The dress was made to be “paper thin” so it could be molded, shaped, and draped. The satin-based washed chiffon and washed organza were used in areas where Posen wanted to “suspend reality.”

This year’s dress code, “Fashion Is Art,” connects the Met’s spring 2026 exhibition “Costume Art,” highlighting the “centrality of the dressed body in the museum’s vast collection” by situating historic fashion alongside paintings, sculptures, and other pieces of fine art.

Kendall’s look is one of the best of the night and if we’re lucky, Taylor is calling Kendall up right now, and we’ll get to see a different iteration of this look once more. Maybe at a rehearsal dinner, if you’re taking suggestions, Ms. Swift.
