Apple has officially unveiled iOS 27, the next major operating system update for the iPhone. It maintains backward compatibility with all devices capable of running iOS 26 (even some we didn’t think would be updated), and newer models.

To improve responsiveness on older hardware, iOS 27 incorporates an optimized CPU scheduler. A central feature of iOS 27 is a completely rebuilt search index designed to enhance Spotlight and overall system-wide queries. • Multilingual Support: Expanded keyboards and transcription support for Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, and various Indigenous languages.
• Connectivity: Faster AirPlay connections, improved Wi-Fi stability, and swifter HomeKit accessory pairing.
