Realme P4R Debuts With Massive 8,000mAh Battery, 144Hz Di...

Realme has officially introduced the new P4R smartphone, targeting budget-conscious consumers who prioritize battery life, durability, and smooth display performance. The device stands out with its large 8,000mAh battery, a high-refresh-rate screen, and a competitive price point in the mid-range segment.

The Realme P4R features a 6.8-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and support for refresh rates of up to 144Hz, offering smoother animations and scrolling compared to standard smartphone screens. The display can also reach a peak brightness of 1,200 nits, helping improve visibility in bright outdoor environments.

Powering the smartphone is MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 processor, paired with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Users who need additional space can expand storage through a microSD card slot. Connectivity options include 5G support, Wi-Fi 5, and Bluetooth 5.3.

In the camera department, the P4R is equipped with a 50-megapixel main rear camera accompanied by an auxiliary lens. On the front, an 8-megapixel camera handles selfies and video calls. The rear camera module adopts a vertical layout with multiple lenses and an LED flash positioned above the sensors.

One of the device’s key highlights is its 8,000mAh battery, which is significantly larger than those found in most smartphones currently on the market. The battery supports 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging. The handset ships with Android 16 and Realme UI 7 out of the box.

Realme has also emphasized durability, with the P4R carrying MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification and an IP65 rating for protection against dust and water exposure.

The smartphone is initially launching in India in Lavender, Titanium, and Silver color options. Pricing starts at 18,999 Indian rupees (~$220) for the 4GB + 128GB model. The 6GB + 128GB version costs 20,999 rupees (~$245), while the top-tier 6GB + 256GB variant is priced at 22,999 rupees (~$268).

Realme has not yet announced availability in other markets, including the US.
