Bringing a banker to your at home

Bank Leumi recently announced an additional unique service for its senior citizen customers. Men and women aged 80 and above who find it difficult to leave their homes due to the sirens, but need to carry out banking transactions in order to maintain their daily routines, will be able to request that a banker come to their home.

Customers will be able to contact a dedicated call center available 24 hours a day at *5882 and coordinate a home visit by a professional banker, who will be able to assist them in real time in carrying out a variety of banking transactions. The service will be provided nationwide.

In addition to this service, Leumi will operate its mobile bank branch. The branch is staffed by professional and skilled bankers across the country. It is equipped with digital devices and enables customers to carry out physical banking transactions such as cash withdrawals, check deposits, and additional operations.

The new service, “Banker to Your Home,” is part of the social initiative the bank announced last week: the Leumi “Safe Place” project. As part of the initiative, Leumi financed thousands of hotel rooms in the Fattal Hotel Group hotel chain for women and men aged 80 plus who do not have access to a shelter.

Eyal Efrat, head of the Banking Division at Leumi, said, “The war has continued for many long days, and the general public is maintaining, in an astonishing way, a daily routine in the shadow of the events and the sirens. However, there is a population that finds it more difficult to manage a routine, for whom leaving the house is not simple and involves significant effort. The ‘Banker to Your Home’ service is intended to make things easier for them and allow them to carry out banking transactions without needing to leave their homes. We at Leumi will continue to look after the senior population and assist them as much as possible.”
