I’m excited to share that Cristina Cordova has joined Linear as Chief Operating Officer to help us shape the company and lead our go-to-market efforts.

Cristina joins us at a pivotal moment in our journey to create a new standard for building software. Beyond the thousands of startups using Linear, there is an increasingly large number of established companies that are pushing back against the stagnation of their tools and looking for a better way to build their products.

Remote, Watershed, and Cohere are just a few of the companies that have migrated their teams over to Linear since the start of this year.

To ensure that Linear provides the same level of performance, effectiveness and delight to teams of any size, our focus has been to make Linear even more scalable and reliable. This involves not only leveling up Linear the product, but also leveling up Linear the company. And this is where Cristina comes in.

Cristina brings a wealth of experience to Linear having previously scaled products and teams at Stripe and Notion. At Notion, Cristina served as the Head of Platform & Partnerships managing the launch of the company’s API and building various business development and product growth teams. She previously spent more than seven years at Stripe, where she led a business unit and built the partnerships team from the ground up. She joined Stripe as one of the first employees and helped to grow the company to nearly 3000 people.

Most recently, Cristina was a Partner at First Round and an investor and advisor to companies such as Canva, AtoB and Meter (most of which are building with Linear).

Our approach to company building is similar to our approach to product building: We want to ship better, not just faster. We value craftsmanship and getting even the smallest details right. This means being considerate in who we bring on board to drive Linear forward. The reason I believe Cristina is such a great fit for Linear’s next phase of growth is not just her track record of scaling industry-defining companies, but the fact that she shares our values and our way of thinking.

Cristina has worked on developer products for the majority of her career and cares deeply about customer experience. She shares our commitment to quality and will bring the same attention to detail to our go-to-market efforts. In short, Cristina will help us expand Linear’s magic and bring it to the entire customer journey.
