Captivate Unveils Ad Marketplace, Online Podcast Recording Platform and Integrated Audio Editing Tools

Following a major upgrade to its industry-leading podcast reporting infrastructure, Captivate is thrilled to announce a timeline of new proprietary features to give serious podcast creators realistic, sustainable and easy-to-understand options for monetising their podcast brands.

Captivate Studio includes remote podcast recording and a powerful audio editing platform, plus exciting additions to Captivate’s dynamic content toolkit, “AMIE”.

This compliments Captivate Ads, a multi-level, realistic & sustainable podcast advertising system powered by Captivate’s own live-stitching tech, saleable feed drop technology and a peer-to-peer ad marketplace that is deeply integrated with DAX, the pioneering ad-tech from parent company, Global.

With each new product segment being researched, designed & coded from the ground up by the Captivate team, the platform continues to thoughtfully develop into the complete podcasting ecosystem for serious creators, building upon unique existing features to give podcasters a simple, powerful and efficient platform where they can plan, record, edit, distribute, measure and monetise their podcasts – all underpinned by a reliable, world-class “hosting first” approach that ensures IAB Certified measurement remains paramount to a creator’s success.

AMIE Campaign Management: Beta launches 6th October 2025

AMIE Campaign Management: Duration or impressions based; full flexibility for dynamic content or direct-sold.

With AMIE campaign management, you can now control how long a particular piece of content is inserted into your episode catalogue. This can be based on either a timed approach or an “impressions” approach, giving you complete flexibility within your own internal dynamic content campaigns or directly-sold ad campaigns.

Phase Two:
Sell Your Own Feed Drops: Beta launches 15th October 2025

Paid Feed Drops: Direct storefront sales, complete pricing control, and approve everything.

We’re introducing a suite of new podcast monetisation options for creators, all built by the Captivate team to give serious podcasters complete control, flexibility and depth within their revenue streams.

Captivate’s saleable feed drop platform gives you the opportunity to directly sell feed drops from the new storefront link that we create for you, with all generated revenue being delivered directly to your Captivate earnings dashboard for easy withdrawal to your bank account, and powered by the same proprietary tech that runs our current “Network Feed Drops” and “Membership & Tipping” functionality.

You have full control: choose the price for your feed drops, how many of these you’re selling, the frequency and embargo rate within your feed and, of course, who you’re selling them to & the content that you approve for your audience.

This sets the stage for a whole creator-level marketplace, which we’re going to further explore with the brand new Captivate Ads…

Phase Three:
Captivate Ads: Beta launches 15th December 2025

We’ve built our own ad marketplace from the ground up: for smaller podcasters, matching more niche podcasts with the perfect advertisers at the perfect price, either on a CPM or directly-priced basis; as your podcast grows, you’re automatically scaled to the perfect balance of smaller advertisers and advertisers using the DAX marketplace. This is how you match with larger ad partners as they become relevant to you and your audience: no more feeling like you’re the bottom of the revenue list or a backup to round out an advertiser’s campaign for very little in return.

You’re thoughtfully offered partnerships with the most suitable advertisers at all levels, with ads always being appropriate to your audience through simple IAB category control and of course, you fully review each order made on your show before accepting it.

The Captivate Ads marketplace includes your paid feed drops too, giving an automated home to all of your ad revenue opportunities, whilst being smart enough to let you sell feed drops & ads directly and via the marketplace without duplication, feed overload or a poor listener experience.
