Samuel Kummary is the Technical Director at the Mojaloop Foundation, a nonprofit focused on advancing financial inclusion through open-source software for interoperable payment systems.

With a career in software development since 2005, Sam has extensive experience in financial inclusion projects, holding technical leadership roles. A long-time member of the Mojaloop community, he contributed to its early iterations. Sam grew up in rural India with a passion for mathematics, science, and physics, and is driven by solving problems, improving system efficiencies. He serves as the Convener of the Mojaloop Change Control Board, manages Mojaloop releases, guides technical strategies and supports adoption of the Mojaloop Specification and Mojaloop platform itself.
