Enjoy Apple TV+ on the Apple TV App for $4.99 per Month or Free with a New Apple Device or Apple Music Student Plan
Starting today, audiences in over 100 countries and regions can watch Apple TV+ on the Apple TV app, featuring new, exclusive original shows, movies and documentaries from today’s most imaginative storytellers. Customers can enjoy Apple TV+ on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, iPod touch, Mac, select Samsung smart TVs, Roku and Amazon Fire TV devices, as well as on the web at tv.apple.com.
Apple TV+ subscribers can watch Apple Originals ad-free and on demand, both online and offline, on the Apple TV app, which is already on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, iPod touch and Mac. Apple TV+ is also available on the Apple TV app on select Samsung smart TVs and Roku and Amazon Fire TV devices. Customers with AirPlay 2-enabled Samsung, LG and VIZIO smart TVs can play Apple Originals from the Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or Mac directly to their smart TVs. Apple TV+ is also available on the web at tv.apple.com. With Family Sharing, up to six family members can share one Apple TV+ subscription and watch using their own Apple ID and password on their own devices.
- Apple TV+ is available on the Apple TV app for $4.99 (US) per month with a seven-day free trial for new subscribers starting today on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV 4K, Apple TV HD, Apple TV (3rd generation), iPod touch and Mac. To subscribe to Apple TV+, customers must update to iOS 12.3 or later, tvOS 12.3 or later and macOS Catalina.
- Apple TV+ is also available on the Apple TV app on all 2018, 2019 and newer Samsung smart TVs and select Roku and Amazon Fire TV devices, and will be coming to LG, Sony and VIZIO platforms in the future.
- Customers can also subscribe to and watch Apple TV+ at tv.apple.com.
- Customers with AirPlay 2-enabled Samsung, LG and VIZIO smart TVs must update to iOS 12.3 or later or macOS Catalina to play Apple TV+ originals from the Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or Mac directly to their smart TVs. Customers with eligible Sony smart TVs will be able to enjoy AirPlay 2 support later this year.
- For a limited time, customers who purchase a new iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac or iPod touch starting September 10 can enjoy one year of Apple TV+ for free (one offer per Apple ID). $4.99 per month after free trial. - All Apple Music student plan subscribers will get free access to Apple TV+ for a limited time. This includes students who have signed up for the Apple Music student plan prior to the launch of Apple TV+. To get free access to Apple TV+, Apple Music student plan subscribers simply need to sign in with their Apple ID to the Apple TV app or on tv.apple.com. Offer good for verified college students only and does not extend to a Family Sharing group.
