As more companies look to adopt chips based on the open source RISC-V architecture, SUSE and chipmaker Openchip are building a European tech stack around the technology.

SUSE Global Head Sovereign Solutions Andreas Prins said in a press release that the collaboration will ensure its software stack is “fully optimised, secure and ready for deployment” when Openchip’s European-manufactured hardware goes to market.
