




























Ten years ago, venture capitalists told Dragos CEO Robert Lee that starting the company was mistake. On Thursday, Accenture bought a majority stake in the company at a $3.2 billion valuation.
Dragos announced in a blog post that Accenture has acquired a majority stake alongside runZero and NetRise – two vendors that will be folded into its operational technology cybersecurity platform.
The deal values the entire business at $4.1 billion, which make it, according to the press statement, most valued OT cybersecurity company in history.
OT analyst Dale Peterson said, "This is a massive shake-up to the market that I can't even get my head around (yet)."
