Work Design 2.0

Work is changing faster than any of us expected.

In just a few short years, certainty gave way to experimentation. The office shifted from a given to a question. Hybrid work, AI, wellbeing, sustainability, culture, and technology are colliding—and the conversation around them has become cluttered and fragmented, often without clear answers. Many of us feel both energized and overwhelmed by the pace of change. Along the way, it’s easy to get caught up chasing visibility, platforms, and algorithms—and lose sight of why we started these conversations in the first place.

Work Design 2.0 is Our Response.

We’re simplifying and refocusing—switching platforms, decluttering our content, and concentrating on what truly matters. We’re returning to our original mission: independent, unbiased, and transparent exploration of how the work environment is changing, and insights from the people actually leading that change. Going forward, Work Design will focus on the work we believe makes the greatest impact, delivered through a bi-weekly curated newsletter and the podcast What the F* is Happening to the Office? – Real conversations. Real perspectives. No hype.

This isn’t about having all the answers. Inquiry, not certainty, is the foundation of progress. As conditions continue to evolve, so must the questions we ask and the frameworks we use to answer them. We believe diverse perspectives open doors none of us could imagine on our own. We invite your thoughts, challenges, ideas, and guest suggestions. Read. Listen. Respond. Engage. Because the future of work won’t be shaped by one company, one leader, or one point of view—it will be built by a thoughtful, curious community willing to rethink assumptions and move forward with intention.

Thanks for being part of what’s next.

Welcome to Work Design 2.0.

We Are Moving!

What does that mean for you? Not much, except a better experience. You’ll continue to see the same published stories, insights, and industry updates you’ve signed up for, just with improved delivery, design, and reliability on our end.

As always, thank you for being part of the Work Design community. We’re excited about this next step and look forward to continuing the conversation.
