
























Wonderla Holidays Ltd. has launched Terrea by Wonderla, an earth-themed urban resort in Bengaluru, marking a strategic expansion into premium hospitality.
Amusement park operator Wonderla has deepened its hospitality ambitions with the launch of Terrea by Wonderla, an earth-inspired urban resort adjacent to its Bengaluru park, as it looks to tap into rising demand for premium, experience-led stays.
The property was revamped over eight months with an investment of around ₹18 crore. “We’ve had this resort in Bengaluru for over a decade, but we wanted to give it a new identity and a distinct brand of its own,” said Arun K. Chittilappilly, Executive Chairman & Managing Director, Wonderla Holidays Ltd., adding that the move was driven by a clear shift in consumer preferences. “We saw a clear demand for premium, differentiated offerings, and wanted to extend that to our resort business as well,” he told businessline.
The 84-room resort has been designed around nature-led themes, with each floor offering a different experience, from botanical to beach and urban inspirations. “We wanted every room to feel different, unlike typical hotels where the experience is largely uniform,” Chittilappilly noted.
The launch builds on Wonderla’s earlier hospitality venture, The Isle by Wonderla. The company is now positioning its hospitality vertical as a key growth lever, moving beyond its core amusement park business. “We want to position this as a lifestyle brand with a clear value proposition, rather than just an extension of the amusement park,” Chittilappilly said.
With demand holding steady despite global uncertainties, Wonderla is also evaluating expanding the format to other cities, such as Kochi, Hyderabad, and Chennai, alongside its existing park footprint.
