The Hindu’s campaigns shine at the INMA Global Media Awards
2026-05-10 · via The Hindu: Latest News today from India and the World, Breaking news, Top Headlines and Trending News Videos.

The Hindu’s media campaigns earned global recognition at the prestigious INMA Global Media Awards 2026, with ‘The Hindu Written By Journalists’, a brand campaign, winning first place in the Best Brand Awareness Campaign category, and ‘The Hindu Made Of Chennai’, a city celebration campaign securing third place in the Best Event to Build a News Brand category.

The INMA Global Media Awards celebrate excellence and innovation across the news media industry, recognising best practices in news brands, audience engagement, subscriptions, product development, advertising, commerce, and newsroom transformation.

Commenting on the achievement, L.V. Navaneeth, CEO of The Hindu Group said, “These recognitions underscore our commitment to creating meaningful campaigns that connect deeply with audiences while reinforcing the strength and relevance of our brands through creativity, innovation, and impactful storytelling.”

Reflecting time-tested values

‘Written By Journalists’ is a brand campaign by The Hindu that spotlighted the importance of credible, fact-based journalism, created by experienced journalists at a time when misinformation and unverified content are increasingly prevalent. Through impactful storytelling and sharp messaging, the campaign reinforced the value of trusted journalism and The Hindu’s editorial legacy.

‘Made of Chennai’ is a city-centric initiative by The Hindu that celebrates the stories, culture, creativity, and spirit of Chennai. The campaign brought together citizens, creators, entrepreneurs, artists, and changemakers through experiences and conversations that reflected the city’s identity and emotional fabric.

Suresh Nambath, Editor, The Hindu said, “These recognitions reflect what The Hindu has stood for over the years: credible journalism, public trust, and a deep connection with the communities we serve. Whether through ‘Written By Journalists’ or ‘Made of Chennai’, it is encouraging to see these values resonate on a global platform like the INMA.”
