Water level in Mullaperiyar dam on Sunday stood at 112.45 feet (the maximum permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 170 cusecs and a discharge of 356 cusecs. In Vaigai dam, the level was 31.73 feet (the maximum level is 71 ft.) with an inflow of 226 cusecs and a discharge of 86 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 1,680.64 mcft. Rainfall recorded in last 24 hours (in mm): Periyapatti 23, Kodaikanal 17.2, Kallandiri 16.2, Mettupatti 9.2, Andipatti 5, and Madurai 2.2.
