Krishnagiri district recorded a pass percentage of 91.31 in Class 12 exams, the results of which were declared on Friday (May 8). The pass percentage of girls was 6.80 higher than that of boys. Girls recorded a pass percentage of 94.54 while boys registered a pass percentage of 87.74
A total of 21,310 students had appeared for the exams. Of them, 19, 459 cleared the test. The pass percentage of government schools was 87.76 and that of government-aided schools was 96.14%. The pass percentage of private matriculation schools was 98.72.
Of the 193 schools, 43 secured centum pass percentage. Of the 108 government schools, three registered centum. With this, Krishnagiri has come 34th in the State in pass percentage.
