Polavaram District Collector K. Dinesh Kumar has ordered a probe into the death of Rajavommangi Child Development Project Officer (CDPO) D. Sujatha who reportedly ended her life by consuming poison on May 5.
On May 5, Ms. Sujatha took the extreme step allegedly due to harassment by her senior officials as alleged by her husband D. Vijay Sai in a grievance. She was declared dead while undergoing medical treatment in Government hospital on May 6.
Mr. Dinesh Kumar, in a release issued on Sunday (May 10), stated: “A probe has been ordered into the death of Ms. Sujatha. ITDA-Rampachodavaram in-charge Subham Nokwal will inquiry the case and submit a report.” (Those struggling with suicidal tendencies can dial Ramapachodavaram police 9440796517)
