With pleasant weather prevailing over the Western Ghats in Kanniyakumari district, a large number of tourists are flocking to Thirparappu waterfalls, one of the popular tourist destinations in the district.

The waterfalls maintain its flow throughout the year, except for a few days, making it a preferred destination for visitors. As the summer vacation draws to a close, the number of tourists visiting the site has increased significantly over the past few days. Families, children and groups of youngsters are enjoying the scenic beauty of the area and bathing in the waterfalls.

Visitors enjoy the cool and drizzly weather brought by the Western Ghats, which adds to the charm of the tourist spot. However, heavy influx of visitors has also led to traffic congestion and parking issues in the area. The approach road to Thirparappu waterfalls has witnessed severe traffic snarls on both sides, as hundreds of vehicles arrive at the spot.

Locals and motorists have urged the authorities to take measures to regulate traffic and improve parking facilities to ensure a hassle-free experience for tourists visiting the waterfalls.
